Rebecca Griscti
Hi, my name is Rebecca Griscti and I am the GLL for Senior Kindergarten (SK). This is my third year teaching SK at CIS and second year as the SK Grade Level Leader. I am originally from Toronto, Canada where I received my undergraduate degree. I later moved to Melbourne, Australia to receive my teaching qualification. Before coming to Cambodia, I taught for 2 years in London, England. I love working collaboratively with the other SK teachers to meet the curriculum outcomes and personal needs through play, exploration and inquiry for our young learners.

Eric Nguy
Greetings, my name is Eric. I will be the Grade Level Leader for Grade 1 this year. I am from Melbourne Australia, I have taught in a number of different countries which include Australia, Thailand and currently in Cambodia. I am passionate about helping students develop their reading skills and believe developing strong literacy skills will position students to become successful within school and beyond.

Casey Carlson
Hello! My name is Casey Carlson and I teach in 2CC. This is my third year at CIS and my second year as a GLL. I have taught a variety of primary grades in both Alberta and Scotland, where I also ran a literacy program, prior to moving to Cambodia to teach at CIS. In my role, I facilitate collaboration with our strong Grade 2 team of teachers who work together to share our experiences and expertise in a way that will best support your children’s individual learning needs. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at CIS so far, and am looking forward to another wonderful year with the CIS family!

Zoe Roles
My name is Zoe. As a teacher for over 20 years I consider myself to be someone that is passionate and enthusiastic in ensuring that every learner is able to achieve their best. I spent over 10 years working in International Baccalaureate schools where inquiry-based learning is central to what we do. I embrace different cultures and would consider myself to be a passionate traveller. Having lived in New Zealand, United Kingdom and most recently Mozambique, I am excited to call Cambodia my new home.

Debi Seaman
Hi, I’m Debi Seaman. I taught in the Calgary Board of Education in Canada for 13 years and recently completed a Master of Education degree in Educational Research through the University of Calgary. I am a contributing author to the recently published Leading With Heart: Enacting Self-Care,Collective Care, and Justice (Burns & Mitchell-Pellet, 2020). I enjoy swimming, golfing, reading, and exploring my new home! I am very excited for the new adventure that teaching and leading at CIS brings.

Sarah Longstaffe
I joined CIS in August 2020 as Physical Education and Health teacher. I am now in my 14th year as a teacher and one of my main aims is developing students’ love for sport and also allowing students to find a passion for lifelong physical activity. My previous role was Head of PE and Sport in an international school in Thailand where I taught for the last 4 years. I am a UK qualified Physical Education teacher with a PGCE from Sheffield Hallam University and taught in a secondary school in the UK for nine years before moving to Thailand. I have moved to Cambodia with my husband Richard and two children. We are an active family and like to swim, ride bikes and love to travel.

Nicole Cameron
Hello CIS community! My name is Nicole Cameron and I have the pleasure of being this year’s grade 9 to 11 GLL. Originally from Alberta, I have taught Social Studies for many years at various grade levels. Currently, I am teaching IB Global Politics, Social 10, 9 and 7.
Accompanying me in my international teaching career is my husband and young daughter. Together we decided to combine our passion for travel and my love of the world and supporting students to become global citizens. I look forward to a wonderful year.
