CIS Bassac Garden Preschool is named after the gated community where it is located. We welcome students from 18 months old to 3 years old to our well-rounded learning environment created just for them. Our early years program follows the world-renowned Alberta Canadian curriculum and the Reggio-Emilia philosophy.

Reggio Emilia Curriculum
CIS preschools follow a Canadian curriculum using the Alberta document, “Flight: An Early Learning Framework for Alberta”. It is based on thorough, current, educational and scientific brain research on how young children learn best.
Reggio Emilia fits very well with the Canadian philosophy of learning and growing, and is referenced in the Alberta Early Years curriculum. This curriculum is widely used in many schools that feed into an inquiry based IB school.
Bassac Garden Facilities
Housed in an large colonial style building, CIS Bassac Garden campus boasts some of the best preschool facilities in Phnom Penh. Facilities include Reggio-Emilia inspired classrooms, indoor and outdoor play areas, a garden and a swimming pool.
Meet the Team
Each faculty member at our Bassac Garden Campus is an experienced early childhood educator dedicated to the academic, emotional and social growth of each child.
Classes take place Monday to Friday with both half-day and full-day options.
- Drop Off : 8:00am – 8:30am
- First Session: 8:30am-11:30am
- Full Day Pick Up: 3:30pm
